Kelmer Overhead Door ("we") is the data controller for the personal details you give us through this website, by phone or by email. Our address is Unit 4, Fernhollow Trade Park, Ambrell Way, Derby DE21 9ZZ.

What we collect

Your name, phone number, email address, postcode and address, and what you tell us about your garage door. If you book a visit, we also keep a record of the work done and the invoice.

Why we use it

• To arrange and carry out the visit you asked for (performing a contract).
• To send your invoice, guarantee and service reminders if you asked for them (contract and legitimate interest).
• To keep accounting records for as long as the law requires (legal obligation).

We never sell your details and never use them for marketing you did not ask for.

Who sees it

Our own office team and engineers, our accountant, and the providers that run our booking system and email. Each is bound to keep your details confidential.

How long we keep it

Job records for six years after the last visit, so your guarantee can be honoured and our accounts checked. Enquiries that did not become a booking are deleted after twelve months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them, by emailing hello@kelmeroverheaddoor.example. You can also complain to the data protection regulator in your country.
